== Starting the DAQ ==

  * Currently, the fastscint DAQ is run from a shell on **u6pc5** (the s800 machine) to **spdaq45**.  **spdaq45** is physically located in the rack on the ground floor of S3 on the north side of the s800.

  * The LaBr array is currently run from the **fastscint** account on **spdaq45**. For log-in help, think of Cs.
  * to start the GUI control, run:

  * Note the record check-box located just below the button grouping on the readout GUI (pictured above).  It is important that this box is **NOT** checked.  Data will always be recorded by the GEB in the Global.dat file. 

  * Similar to the s800 DAQ, the labr daq is meant to be enslaved by the master control currently run on **u6pc2**
