The three cameras in use in the S800 beamline can be controlled remotely through the 'Cameras' page in the S800 Diagnostics control. Here you will find links to the cameras in the object (BTS31_D2339), intermediate image (BTS32_D2440), and target (BTS33_D2558) chambers.

If on a camera display you see a white screen which does not change with any modifications of the parameters, it may be that this camera has been unplugged and re-plugged.

If you encounter this:

* First check that the exposure time is not set to be too long.

* At the bottom-right of the camera control screen, go to the drop-down menu called “Expert (AD detail)” and select “AD Base Screen”.

* In the right-most column, press the button called “Reset camera”.

* Make sure that “Exposure auto” (in middle column) and “Gain auto” (in right-most column) are set to OFF. These fields are set to ON after the camera was unplugged and replugged, but you may want to be able to modify these parameters.
