FastScint DAQ
Starting the DAQ
- Currently, the fastscint DAQ is run from a shell on u6pc5 (the s800 machine) to spdaq45. spdaq45 is physically located in the rack on the ground floor of S3 on the north side of the s800.
- The LaBr array is currently run from the fastscint account on spdaq45. For log-in help, think of Cs.
- to start the GUI control, run:
~/DAQ/readout_vme/guireadout
- Note the record check-box located just below the button grouping on the readout GUI (pictured above). It is important that this box is NOT checked. Data will always be recorded by the GEB in the Global.dat file.
- Similar to the s800 DAQ, the labr daq is meant to be enslaved by the master control currently run on u6pc2
